Purchase Head / Procurement Head – Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement planning for raw materials, consumables, spares, and indirect purchases through ERP/AX systems.
- Oversee RFQs, quotation analysis, purchase order issuance, and procurement approvals.
- Manage vendor onboarding, vendor master creation, and supplier database maintenance.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to support uninterrupted plant operations.
- Drive optimization and continuous improvement of procurement and order management processes.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, negotiation strategies, and procurement efficiencies.
- Review and evaluate supplier quotations, conduct comparative analysis, and finalize commercial terms.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, price lists, and procurement compliance.
- Lead supplier development initiatives, vendor evaluations, audits, and strategic sourcing activities.
- Strengthen the supplier base through new vendor identification, qualification, and performance management.
- Oversee item master creation and maintenance within the ERP system.
- Coordinate with Plant, Stores, Production, and Maintenance teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and prepare MIS reports for management review.
- Ensure timely purchase requisition processing, PO approvals, and adherence to procurement timelines.
- Develop procurement strategies to support business growth, operational efficiency, and supply continuity.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the purchase team while ensuring adherence to company procurement policies.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
