Job Title: Mid-Level Executive -QS MEP Engineer- Real Estate

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quantity Estimation and BOQ Preparation:
- Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) specific to MEP works, detailing material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Verify and update MEP quantities based on construction drawings and specifications.
2. Cost Management and Control:
- Monitor and control project costs related to MEP systems.
- Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective and cost-saving measures.
- Assist in cost estimation, tendering, and rate analysis for electrical and mechanical works.
3. Billing and Documentation:
- Prepare and certify subcontractor bills related to MEP works and ensure timely approvals.
- Maintain accurate cost records and documentation for all project-related activities.
4. Coordination and Collaboration:
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and vendors to ensure accurate measurement and verification of MEP quantities.
- Support project planning and procurement teams in cost-related decisions.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare periodic cost reports and summaries for management review.
- Analyze project progress and provide insights on budget performance and material utilization.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualification: B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 4 to 7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying (MEP) functions within the construction or real estate sector.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of MEP works, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant QS software tools.
- Excellent analytical and numerical ability.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail with a proactive and organized approach to work.
