Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and creative Sr Director - Content Marketing (West) to drive impactful storytelling through an IMC approach anchored in culture and content. This role will focus on building content strategies that integrate with media planning to enhance brand engagement and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Identify audience insights and content opportunities
- Develop integrated content strategies aligned with brand and media objectives
- Ideate and execute industry first PR’able solutions
- Plan and execute content creation and associations across Digital, TV, Radio & Print in an integrated manner
- Responsible to drive revenue for the unit in the region
2. Content Creation & Execution
- Lead development of high-quality content (copies, scripts, blogs, video concepts, social creatives)
- Collaborate with creative, design, and production teams
- Ensure content aligns with brand tone, messaging, and campaign goals
3. Analytics & Reporting
- Track content performance metrics: engagement, reach, conversions, ROI
- Build reports and derive actionable insights
- Continuously optimize based on performance data
4. Team and stakeholder management
- Manage a lean team in the region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (media, creative, analytics)
- Manage and hone client relationships
Key Skills & Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in content strategy/creative strategy/branded content
- Experience in agency units/sports marketing/talent marketing agencies preferred
- Understanding of emerging tech solutions is a must (Gen AI, AR, VR etc)
- Experience in developing and executing branded properties, collaborations and associations and large-scale content campaigns.
- Exceptional ideation & storytelling with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a matrix environment managing partners, internal stakeholders and clients
- Excellent communication, presentation interpersonal & analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
