WE’RE HIRING | ADMISSIONS COUNSELLOR / TELE COUNSELLOR
Amity University Punjab – Mohali Campus is looking for an energetic, target-driven and result-oriented Admissions Counsellor / Tele Counsellor to join our dynamic Admissions Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students and parents on programs, admissions processes and career opportunities.
- Generate, follow up and nurture leads through calls and other communication channels.
- Effectively handle cold, warm and hot leads and convert them into qualified prospects and confirmed admissions.
- Maintain a strong follow-up pipeline and ensure timely closure of prospective candidates.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable academic programs.
- Achieve individual and team-wise admission targets and conversion goals.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, conversions and closures.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
- Work closely with the admissions and marketing teams to maximize lead conversion.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in admissions counselling, tele-counselling, education sales, inside sales or student recruitment.
- Excellent communication, counselling and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales orientation with proven lead conversion and closure ability.
- Ability to confidently handle objections and convert prospects into confirmed candidates.
- Target-oriented, proactive and highly persuasive personality.
- Experience working with CRM/lead management systems will be an advantage.
