As a Social Media Scheduling Intern at GoldBERRY, you will own the scheduling and publishing workflow for one Instagram account. This is an execution role focused on reliability, consistency, and zero missed posts, not content creation. You’ll work with the internal team to ensure approved creatives, captions, and confirmations are organized, scheduled, and published on time.
What you’ll do (core responsibilities)
- Maintain the daily/weekly/monthly content calendar (Upcoming / Scheduled / Published / Pending) for 1 account
- Schedule approved content using Instagram / Meta Business Suite (posts, reels, carousels, stories, announcements)
- Ensure publishing quality and timing: avoid clashes, confirm go-live, and flag missing assets early
- Keep internal visibility updated so the team always knows what’s going out + when
- Coordinate with stakeholders to collect missing confirmations/assets and keep the plan moving
Cadence
- Daily: Check calendar + schedule queue, update tracker, confirm timelines
- Weekly: Build the next week’s schedule, follow up on missing assets/approvals
Tools you’ll use
Instagram / Meta Business Suite, Notion, WhatsApp, Google Drive, Playbook
Time commitment
2 hours/day (approx. 15–18 hours/week)
What success looks like
- On-time publishing with no missed posts
- Clean, up-to-date tracker and clear schedule visibility
- Smooth execution across campaigns and announcements
What you gain
- Real portfolio outputs: published posts/reels with measurable performance (links + screenshots for proof-of-work)
- Content + distribution learning: hooks, captions, formats, retention basics, posting best practices
- Workflow discipline: working in a calendar/cadence, briefs → drafts → approvals → publish → report
- Brand + audience understanding: how to keep voice consistent across artists/events and different platforms
- Growth & analytics exposure: reading insights, learning what worked/why, and iterating weekly
- Creative ops skills: asset coordination, versioning, basic copywriting, and execution under deadlines
- Industry exposure: behind-the-scenes view of how a music/artist ecosystem runs content-wise
- Future opportunities: strong performance can convert into ongoing paid assignments / extended role
You’re not here to create content, you’re here to ensure it is scheduled and published reliably, every time.
