· Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, ECE, or a related discipline.
· Relevant experience in ELV Systems, Control Panel Assembly, Industrial Automation, or System Integration.
Job Summary
The Technical Support Engineer – ELV Systems will be responsible for assembling, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting ELV systems including CCTV, PAGA, Networking, and Control Panels. The role involves providing technical assistance to site engineers, ensuring successful system integration, maintaining technical documentation, and delivering projects in accordance with quality, safety, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Assemble electrical and control panels as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
· Perform panel wiring, cable dressing, ferruling, labeling, gland fitting, and cable termination as per quality standards.
· Configure and integrate CCTV Servers, PAGA Systems, Network Switches, Routers, and other ELV equipment.
· Conduct functional testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and quality inspections before dispatch.
· Inspect and verify systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, server, networking, and ELV system-related issues.
· Install, configure, and maintain servers and associated software applications.
· Provide remote and on-site technical support to project and site engineers during installation, testing, and commissioning.
· Assist in system commissioning, fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
· Prepare and maintain wiring diagrams, configuration records, test reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
· Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Project teams for smooth and timely project execution.
· Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, quality standards, and project timelines.
Required Skills
· Hands-on experience with CCTV, PAGA, Networking, and ELV Systems.
· Knowledge of electrical control panels, panel wiring, and system integration.
· Basic understanding of servers, Windows OS, networking concepts, TCP/IP, and IP addressing.
· Ability to read electrical drawings, GA drawings, SLDs, wiring schematics, and technical documents.
· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
· Familiarity with testing instruments, quality inspection, FAT, and commissioning procedures.
· Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in Industrial Automation or ELV System Integration projects.
· Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.
· Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
· Willingness to travel to project sites and provide remote technical support whenever required.
