Image Creative Education, Thodupuzha, is looking for a creative, skilled, and passionate Senior Fashion Design Faculty to join our academic team. In this role, you will guide and mentor students through the technical, practical, and conceptual stages of garment creation, helping them build strong design foundations, and develop professional portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Instruction & Practical Training:
- Deliver engaging classroom lectures and hands-on lab sessions on fashion illustration, figure drawing, textile science, and surface ornamentation.
- Train students in flat pattern drafting, draping, grading, and garment construction techniques.
- Teach Computer-Aided Design (CAD) applications tailored for fashion, pattern drafting, and digital fashion illustration
- Student Mentorship & Portfolio Development:
- Guide students through theme development, mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal collection planning.
- Mentor students in designing and executing end-to-end design portfolios, mini-collections, and capstone projects.
- Help coordinate student fashion showcases, exhibitions, and creative design competitions.
- Curriculum Management & Evaluation:
- Prepare daily lesson plans, practical assignments, and evaluation rubrics in accordance with Image Creative Education’s standards.
- Conduct regular assessments, offer constructive feedback, and monitor individual student skill growth.
- Industry Trends & Guidance:
- Stay updated on current fashion trends, apparel manufacturing processes, and sustainable fashion practices.
- Introduce students to career paths in fashion styling, boutique management, visual merchandising, and apparel manufacturing.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
