Key Responsibilities
- Counsel cataract patients regarding surgery, lens options, and procedures
- Explain benefits, risks, and costs clearly to patients and attenders
- Convert consultations into confirmed surgeries
- Coordinate with doctors, OT team, and front office for smooth scheduling
- Handle patient queries and provide continuous follow-up
- Maintain counseling records and daily reports
- Ensure excellent patient experience and satisfaction
Requirements
- Optometrist (Healthcare background preferred)
- Experience in hospital counseling (Eye hospital experience is a plus)
- Strong communication and convincing skills
- Ability to handle patients with empathy and clarity
