Job Summary
The Trainee Structural Draughtsman will assist the structural engineering team in preparing, modifying, and maintaining structural drawings and detailing for various residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The candidate will undergo on-the-job training and develop proficiency in drafting standards, structural detailing, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing structural drawings, plans, sections, and details under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Draft RCC and steel structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Revise drawings based on comments received from engineers and project managers.
- Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other team members for drawing updates.
- Support project teams in meeting submission deadlines.
- Learn and implement structural detailing practices as per applicable codes and standards.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of civil and structural engineering concepts.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC and steel structures will be an added advantage.
- Basic computer proficiency.
