Job Summary
The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for detailed engineering, process design, proposal preparation, technical review, and optimization of wastewater treatment systems. The role involves leading engineering activities, supporting project execution, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the delivery of efficient, cost-effective, and compliant treatment solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Engineering & Design
- Perform detailed engineering for wastewater treatment plants (ETP/STP/WTP).
- Develop process design calculations, mass balance, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and process documentation.
- Evaluate and optimize treatment processes to meet project and client requirements.
Proposal & Cost Estimation
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for wastewater treatment projects.
- Develop BOQs, cost estimations, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for technical and commercial inputs.
- Support business development activities by providing technical solutions and presentations.
Technical Review & Quality Assurance
- Review and verify engineering deliverables, drawings, calculations, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct technical evaluations and recommend process improvements.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Procurement, and Project Management.
- Provide technical support during project execution, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables.
Plant Optimization & Troubleshooting
- Support troubleshooting and performance improvement of existing wastewater treatment plants.
- Conduct process audits and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Analyze operational data and recommend corrective actions.
Team Leadership & Training
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior engineers and team members.
- Review team outputs and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the department.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in wastewater treatment process engineering, detailed engineering, and proposal preparation.
- Experience in EPC, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Engineering, or Process Industries preferred.
Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Process Design and Simulation Software
- ERP/Project Management Tools (Preferred)
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
