Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the resort and ensuring all facilities, equipment, and utilities are maintained in safe and efficient working condition. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring smooth functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance activities across the resort including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are implemented and completed on time.
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints and breakdowns promptly.
- Monitor the operation and maintenance of utilities such as DG sets, pumps, STP/WTP systems, and air-conditioning units.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure minimal disruption to guest services during maintenance work.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities regularly to identify maintenance issues.
- Supervise and guide maintenance technicians and external contractors.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, service reports, equipment logs, and inventory.
- Ensure proper use and storage of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Follow safety procedures, engineering standards, and company policies.
- Assist in renovation, installation, and project-related maintenance activities.
- Monitor energy usage and support cost-control initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, HVAC, or related technical field preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience in maintenance or engineering operations in hotels, resorts, or commercial properties.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a team and coordinate multiple maintenance tasks.
- Basic computer knowledge for reports and maintenance records.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Physically fit and capable of handling maintenance supervision activities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hotel or resort engineering operations.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and facility management practices.
- Familiarity with STP, WTP, DG operations, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Understanding of safety regulations, fire systems, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to coordinate vendor services and maintenance contracts.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
