Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Site Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of field instrumentation such as temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, detectors, and sensors. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper installation, calibration, and smooth functioning of instruments at site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute installation of field instruments including:
- Temperature transmitters
- Pressure transmitters
- Flow instruments (if applicable)
- Detectors and sensors
- Ensure proper cable laying, glanding, termination, and loop checking.
- Perform calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments as per project specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings such as:
- P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)
- Hook-up drawings
- Loop diagrams
- Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and vendors at site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation issues during installation and commissioning.
- Maintain documentation such as calibration reports, test reports, and commissioning records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of field instrumentation and control systems
- Hands-on experience with calibration tools and instruments
- Familiarity with HART communicators or similar tools
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of PLC/DCS systems (preferred)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or Manufacturing
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work at project sites
- Ability to work in a team and handle site pressures

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
