The Quality Executive at CSD Varanasi will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of product quality and operational excellence within the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) framework. This role involves meticulous oversight of quality control processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining customer satisfaction through rigorous quality assurance measures for all products handled and distributed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality management systems and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive quality control procedures for all incoming, stored, and outgoing products.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits of inventory, storage facilities, and product handling processes to ensure adherence to established standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with CSD guidelines, national food safety regulations, and other relevant quality standards for all product categories.
- Investigate and resolve product non-conformities, customer complaints, and quality deviations, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain quality agreements, conduct supplier audits, and ensure the quality of procured goods.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality control activities, inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Prepare regular quality performance reports for management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to store staff on quality protocols, product handling best practices, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor environmental conditions within storage areas to prevent product degradation and ensure optimal preservation.
