JOB TITLE: Identity & Collaboration Operations Engineer (OPS IAM)
LOCATION: Hybrid - Madhapur Hyderabad
POSITION TYPE: Full-time / Contractor (Individual Contributor)
ROLE SUMMARY
Join us as an Identity & Collaboration Operations Engineer, where you'll keep our enterprise identity and collaboration platforms running smoothly every single day. You'll be the hands-on owner of workforce identity (B2E) operations and our digital collaboration stack - making sure accounts, access, and productivity tools just work for thousands of users. Expect to live in the world of account lifecycle management, MFA and Conditional Access, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint).
This isn't an architecture role, but you'll be the person who turns designs and policies into rock-solid, secure production services. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our architecture, security, and engineering teams to keep everything aligned with our standards and service commitments.
What You'll Do
Keep workforce identity humming
- Run the full joiner / mover / leaver flow so people get the right access at the right time.
- Be the go-to for authentication, authorization, and access hiccups across business apps.
- Keep MFA and Conditional Access healthy, and untangle tricky user and device access cases.
- Team up with HR, IT, and security to keep identity processes accurate, on-time, and audit-ready.
Run our cloud identity (Azure AD / Entra)
- Operate Azure AD day to day - user flows, custom policies, tenant settings.
- Handle the routine but critical stuff: config changes, certificate upkeep, and fixes.
- Crack sign-in, registration, and authentication issues alongside app and support teams.
- Watch platform health, logs, and alerts so you catch problems before users do.
Power our Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
- Support Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online for the whole org.
- Own access, licensing, groups, and permissions for collaboration services.
- Sort out mail flow, Teams calling/meeting glitches, SharePoint access, and config tweaks.
- Partner with messaging, EUC, and platform crews to keep collaboration stable and secure.
Be the escalation expert (Tier-2 / Tier-3)
- Step in as the senior troubleshooter when identity and collaboration incidents escalate.
- Dig deep across identity, auth, access control, and service dependencies to find root cause.
- Jump into major incidents, lead RCAs, and run honest post-incident reviews.
- Push fixes through with vendors, engineers, and internal partners.
Keep things clean and always improving
- Keep an eye on dashboards, logs, and alerts across all platforms.
- Run regular hygiene - access reviews, config checks, and cleanups.
- Spot the patterns behind repeat issues and pitch ideas to cut noise and manual work.
- Feed what you learn back to architects and engineers to sharpen designs and runbooks.
Document like a pro
- Write and maintain clear runbooks, guides, and operational docs.
- Make sure every procedure is repeatable and matches our standards and security rules.
- Grow our shared knowledge base (Confluence or similar).
