Workshop Floor Management & Workflow
- Job Allocation: Assigns repair, service, and maintenance tasks to mechanics and technicians based on individual skill levels and bay availability.
- Workflow Optimization: Monitors ongoing repairs to prevent bottlenecks and ensure tasks are completed within designated timelines.
- Progress Tracking: Conducts regular walk-arounds to check on job statuses and makes real-time adjustments to team priorities
- Cross-Departmental Synergy: Coordinates heavily with Service Advisors, Spare Parts teams, and the Works Manager to ensure timely availability of parts and labor.
- Technical Clarifications: Assists Service Advisors with complicated technical inquiries to help explain repair needs clearly to fleet owners.
- Escalation Management: Steps in to resolve complex technical concerns or customer complaints regarding the quality of work.
- Task Management: Leads and coaches teams of 8–12 technicians/trainees, ensuring a disciplined and organized work environment.
- Technical Guidance: Assists and guides technicians in troubleshooting complex issues related to heavy commercial vehicles.
- Training & Onboarding: Conducts training on new vehicle technologies, safety procedures, and workshop protocols
Pay: ₹18,012.13 - ₹23,468.07 per month
