Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Electrical / ELV who can independently handle site measurements, electrical billing, measurement sheets, technical documentation, and coordination for approvals. The candidate should have good knowledge of site execution and be capable of coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and management for technical approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate Electrical / ELV site execution as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Take accurate site measurements and prepare measurement sheets for completed work.
- Prepare and maintain Electrical Billing and Measurement Sheets.
- Prepare RA bills and supporting documents based on actual site measurements and completed work.
- Verify quantities executed at site against BOQ, drawings and project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain measurement records, quantity sheets and billing documentation.
- Prepare and submit Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for approval.
- Coordinate with clients/consultants for TDS approval and resolve technical queries.
- Prepare, submit and coordinate for drawing approvals from clients/consultants.
- Ensure that approved drawings are properly followed at the project site.
- Coordinate with the project team, contractors, vendors and management for timely completion of work.
- Monitor site progress and report work status to management.
- Maintain proper records of approved drawings, TDS, BOQ, measurements, bills and other project documents.
- Check material requirements as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Assist in resolving site-related technical issues and coordinate with concerned teams for solutions.
- Ensure work is carried out as per required quality standards, specifications and safety procedures.
- Prepare regular site progress reports and update management regarding project status.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Electrical site work and execution.
- Good knowledge of Electrical Billing and Quantity Measurement.
- Ability to prepare Site Measurement Sheets and RA Bills.
- Good understanding of BOQ, drawings, specifications and quantities.
- Experience in preparing and managing Technical Data Sheets (TDS).
- Experience in coordinating drawing and technical approvals with clients/consultants.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read electrical/ELV drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel for measurement and billing sheets.
- Strong documentation and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently at project sites and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Electrical / ELV project execution.
- Experience in billing, measurements and technical approvals will be preferred.
