Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Career Counselor with a minimum of 3 years of experience in educational counseling, admissions, or career guidance.
The candidate will counsel students and working professionals, guide them toward suitable SAP and professional certification programs, and contribute to achieving admission and placement objectives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Counsel students, graduates, and working professionals on career opportunities and training programs. Assess candidates' educational background, interests, and career goals to recommend the appropriate course.
Provide detailed information on SAP courses, certifications, projects, internships, and placement support.
Convert enquiries into admissions through effective counseling and regular follow-ups. Handle walk-in, phone, email, WhatsApp, and social media enquiries professionally.
Conduct career guidance sessions, seminars, workshops, webinars, and campus awareness programs.
Build strong relationships with colleges, placement officers, HR professionals, and corporate partners.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, counseling sessions, admissions, and follow-up activities using CRM.
Coordinate with the marketing and placement teams to improve lead conversion and student success. Guide students on resume building, interview preparation, and career planning.
Monitor student progress and ensure high satisfaction throughout the learning journey.
Meet monthly admission targets while maintaining ethical counseling practices.
Stay updated on SAP technologies, certification pathways, industry trends, and employment opportunities.
Eligibility Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Career Counseling, Academic Counseling, Admissions, Student Recruitment, or Educational Sales. Experience in SAP training institutes, IT training, EdTech, or higher education is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Tamil.
Strong counseling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms.
