Offset Printing Machine In-Charge – Sheet Metal Printing

Experience- 10 Years +

Qualification- Diploma / Degree in Printing Technology

Job Purpose
To handle and supervise UV & Conventional Offset Printing Machines for sheet metal printing operations while ensuring production efficiency, print quality, and minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate and supervise UV & Conventional Offset Printing Machines used for sheet metal printing.
· Ensure proper machine setup, registration, color matching, coating application, and print quality during production.
· Handle printing jobs for metal sheets as per approved artwork, customer specifications, and production targets.
· Monitor printing parameters continuously and make necessary adjustments to maintain print consistency.
· Coordinate with Production Planning, QA, and Tool Room teams for smooth execution of printing schedules.
· Ensure proper handling and usage of inks, coatings, chemicals, thinner, plates, and printing consumables.
· Maintain strict control over print wastage, rejection, and production losses.
· Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspection of printing machines to ensure optimum machine performance.
· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and print-related issues to minimize downtime.
· Supervise machine operators, helpers, and printing staff to ensure disciplined and efficient operations.
· Train team members on machine handling, safety practices, print quality standards, and SOP compliance.
· Ensure implementation of safety standards and housekeeping practices within the printing department.
· Maintain records related to production, machine breakdowns, ink consumption, rejection analysis, and maintenance activities.
· Support installation, commissioning, and trial runs of new printing machines and equipment.
Technical Skills Required
· Strong hands-on experience in UV & Conventional Offset Printing Machines.
· Knowledge of sheet metal printing processes, UV curing systems, coating applications, and color management.
· Understanding of print registration, dot control, ink viscosity, coating thickness, and drying systems.
· Ability to troubleshoot machine breakdowns and print quality issues.
· Knowledge of preventive maintenance and spare handling.
· Ability to read production drawings, artwork specifications, and machine manuals.
· Basic computer knowledge and ERP/SAP exposure preferred.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
