Narayana School, Bannerghatta is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Social Science Teacher to inspire young learners and build a strong foundation in history, geography, civics, and environmental studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Social Science lessons for primary school students.
- Foster curiosity and critical thinking through activity-based and experiential learning.
- Develop students' understanding of history, geography, civics, and environmental awareness.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
- Design and implement assessments, assignments, projects, and learning activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate academic records and classroom documentation.
- Participate actively in school events, parent meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
- Ensure classroom discipline, student well-being, and adherence to school policies.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into daily instruction.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, History, Geography, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory.
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in primary grades preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital teaching tools.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
