We are looking for an experienced and versatile candidate with proven experience in a similar role involving field sales, customer acquisition, driving, product delivery, and administrative/operational support.
The candidate should be capable of independently generating sales for agriculture, gardening, and related products, visiting customers and dealers, handling deliveries, supporting the admin team, and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
The candidate must be willing to travel within Thiruvananthapuram and other districts of Kerala, as required for official work.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Generate new sales and identify potential customers, dealers, nurseries, farmers, institutions, and businesses.
- Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and product presentations.
- Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into sales.
- Build and maintain strong customer and dealer relationships.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and provide regular updates.
Driving & Delivery
- Drive safely for sales visits, customer meetings, and product deliveries.
- Handle timely delivery of products within Thiruvananthapuram and other districts, as required.
- Be willing to travel outside the district for sales, deliveries, exhibitions, or other official work.
- Assist with loading and unloading products when required.
- Collect payments, documents, or customer acknowledgements when assigned.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained properly and report any issues promptly.
Admin & Operational Support
- Support the admin team with day-to-day office and business operations.
- Assist with customer order coordination, follow-ups, dispatch, and delivery planning.
- Help maintain basic records, documents, reports, and operational data.
- Assist with stock checking, packing, and dispatch activities when required.
- Coordinate with customers, dealers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Handle other business-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar multi-tasking role is mandatory.
- Experience in field sales, product delivery, customer handling, and administrative or operational support.
- Valid LMV driving licence with good driving experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales and develop new business opportunities.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to handle administrative tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel across Thiruvananthapuram and other districts of Kerala.
- Knowledge or experience in agriculture, gardening, or related products will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Malayalam and English.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in agricultural, gardening, FMCG, retail, or related product sales.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with a strong sales background.
- Responsible, punctual, flexible, and capable of handling multiple tasks independently.
Salary: Based on experience and performance, with sales incentives if applicable.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
