Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pedodontist (Pediatric Dentist) to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive preventive and restorative dental care to infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs while ensuring a positive and comfortable patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions in children and adolescents.
- Perform preventive dental procedures, including oral examinations, fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral health education.
- Provide restorative treatments such as fillings, pulp therapy, crowns, and extractions.
- Manage dental emergencies and trauma cases in pediatric patients.
- Administer behavior management techniques to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
- Educate parents and caregivers on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with orthodontists, oral surgeons, and other specialists when required.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and clinical quality standards.
Qualifications
- BDS with MDS in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry.
- Valid State Dental Council registration.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to build rapport with children and parents.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling pediatric patients and special needs children.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
