Job Summary
The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The role involves supervising production workers, monitoring workflows, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.
- Ensure production schedules and targets are met.
- Monitor product quality and compliance with company standards.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage and allocate manpower effectively across production lines.
- Train, guide, and evaluate factory workers.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance requirements.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of manufacturing or production supervision experience.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems
Pay: ₹30,910.34 - ₹40,006.87 per month
