As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimise automated testing frameworks to ensure product quality and reliability. You will contribute as both an individual contributor and a hands‑on technical lead, driving test plan reviews, automation development, and technical discussions while collaborating with globally distributed teams.
What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Drive test plan reviews and help correct or define improved coding standards.

Develop test automation aligned with functional and technical design specifications.

Analyse, troubleshoot, and provide code fixes for reported problems in test scripts and change requests.

Participate in technical discussions, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with overall architecture.

Develop proof‑of‑concept prototypes and provide accurate work estimates.

Aid developers and support personnel in determining system problems.

Demonstrate initiative and a can‑do attitude to complete assigned activities.

Manage JIRA/Zephyr for defect tracking and test management.

Experience
-
You have 6–8 years of experience in software product testing and automation.

You are able to perform as an individual contributor and step up as a hands‑on technical lead when required.

You have at least 4 years of experience on Linux platforms with strong shell scripting skills.

You have experience working with globally distributed teams.
Technical Expertise

You hold a B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Computer Science.

You are proficient in Windows and Linux platforms.

You have expert‑level coding skills in Python, PyTest, Selenium, or Protractor.

You are experienced with GitHub and Scrum methodology.

You have knowledge of protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, OPCUA/DA, and BacNet (preferred).

You have knowledge of networking protocols (preferred).
