Sales Executive – Cybersecurity SolutionsJob Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, generating leads, building strong client relationships, and driving sales of cybersecurity products and services. The role requires an understanding of technology solutions, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping organizations strengthen their security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Promote and sell cybersecurity solutions including network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, managed security services, vulnerability assessments, and security consulting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand customer security challenges and recommend suitable cybersecurity solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and client meetings.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to create customized solutions.
- Track sales activities and maintain customer records in CRM systems.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and competitive offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- 1–5 years of sales experience (preferably in IT, software, SaaS, or cybersecurity sales).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
- Ability to build relationships and close deals effectively.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B technology sales.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity products and services.
- Existing network of corporate clients is a plus.
- Certifications or cybersecurity awareness training are advantageous.
