About the Role
We are not looking for someone who just keeps the lights on. We are hiring an IT Administrator who takes genuine ownership — builds systems, ensures nothing breaks silently, and wants to grow into a senior IT Operations role in a fast-scaling environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and access points.
- Administer Cloudflare — domain management, DNS records, redirect rules, WAF, and security settings.
- Configure and maintain Sophos Firewall or equivalent — rules, policies, and threat management.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues proactively.
Windows / Linux Server Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server — Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
- Manage Linux (Ubuntu) servers — user management, updates, and Bash scripting.
- Ensure server health via regular patching, backups, and performance monitoring.
Hardware & Asset Management
- Maintain complete inventory of all hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
- Handle procurement, deployment, and decommissioning of IT assets.
- Coordinate repairs and warranty management with vendors.
OS Troubleshooting & End-User Support
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Ensure zero drop-offs in employee onboarding and offboarding IT processes.
Google Workspace & Microsoft 365 Administration
- Manage Google Workspace — users, groups, Drive policies, and security settings.
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Office 365) — user management, licensing, and admin console.
- Configure SSO, MFA, and email security policies (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
Security & DLP
- Maintain endpoint protection and ensure all systems are updated and compliant.
- Support IT security audits and enforce acceptable use policies.
- Knowledge of DLP (Data Loss Prevention) tools and policies will be an added advantage.
Process & Documentation
- Every recurring IT task should have a documented, improvable process within the first 60 days.
- Identify automation opportunities and suggest improvements proactively.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an IT Administrator or Systems Administrator.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols — TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN.
- Hands-on experience with Sophos Firewall or any next-gen firewall.
- Working knowledge of Cloudflare — domain, DNS records, redirect rules, WAF, and security.
- Windows Server — Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
- Linux (Ubuntu) — SSH, Bash scripting, system administration.
- Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (Office 365) administration.
- Hardware troubleshooting — desktops, laptops, printers, network devices.
- High attention to detail — nothing slips through.
- Proactive mindset — identify issues and fix them before they become blockers.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
