Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer specializing in wiring harness design and integration for automotive and EV applications. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end design, development, and validation of power and signal harness systems, ensuring compliance with automotive and military-grade standards. The role involves working across system architecture, schematic design, 2D/3D harness layout, and physical implementation.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead design and development of power and signal wiring harnesses for EV and automotive platforms
- Define and develop electrical architecture for vehicle-level systems including HV/LV distribution
- Design harness systems covering:
- High-voltage and low-voltage power distribution
- Signal wiring (analog, discrete, and digital signals)
- Communication networks such as CAN, LIN, and other data buses
- Selection of appropriate connectors, terminals, seals, and routing strategies based on application requirements
- Design and integration of DC-DC converters, PDUs, and battery interface systems
- Develop harness documentation including:
- Schematics
- Wiring diagrams
- 2D harness drawings and 3D layout integration
- Ensure compliance with automotive and military wiring standards (e.g., environmental, EMI/EMC, vibration, durability)
- Support prototype builds, installation, and validation testing of harness systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and validation)
- Support DFMEA, design reviews, and design verification activities
Ensure manufacturability and assembly feasibility of harness designs

Required Skills & Expertise:

Strong experience in wiring harness design for EV or automotive systems
- Good understanding of:
- High-voltage safety and isolation requirements
- Low-voltage signal integrity
- Power distribution architecture
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.)
- Knowledge of connector technologies (TE Connectivity, Amphenol, Deutsch, etc. or equivalent)
- Experience in harness routing, packaging, and layout optimization
- Familiarity with DC-DC converters, PDUs, and battery systems integration
- Understanding of military or defense-grade wiring standards is a strong advantage
Proficiency in harness design tools (e.g., CATIA Electrical, Capital Harness, or similar tools preferred)

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or related field
- 3–8+ years of experience in automotive or EV wiring harness design
- Prior experience in OEM, Tier-1 supplier, EV startups, or defense vehicle programs preferred

- Experience across full lifecycle: architecture schematic 2D/3D design prototyping production
