Job Title: Manager – QA/QC & R&D
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager – QA/QC & R&D to lead quality assurance, quality control, and research & development activities. The role involves ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and driving innovation through new product development and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:Quality Assurance (QA):
- Ensure implementation and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality systems.
- Develop, review, and update SOPs, quality policies, and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure readiness for external audits.
- Handle deviations, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and change control.
- Ensure proper documentation and validation of processes.
Quality Control (QC):
- Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure laboratory compliance with standards such as **ISO guidelines.
- Review and approve analytical reports and certificates of analysis (COA).
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
- Monitor product stability and shelf-life studies.
Research & Development (R&D):
- Lead formulation development for new products and improvement of existing products.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for product trials and scale-up.
- Conduct stability studies, compatibility testing, and product validation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., BIS, FDA, or other applicable standards).
- Maintain documentation related to formulations and product development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Chemistry / Cosmetic Science / Pharmaceutical Science.
- 1–5 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care manufacturing.
- Knowledge of cosmetic formulations, raw materials, and stability.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory guidelines.
