Job Description – Electrical Design Engineer
(Location - Needs to be in Delhi for F2F Interview round)
Employment Type, Experience: Full-Time, 4 – 5 years
Annual CTC: ₹6 – 8 Lakhs per Annum (LPA)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Power Wiring Diagrams, and Terminal Layouts for Low Voltage (LV) Control Panels, including Automation Control Panels.
- Prepare, modify, and maintain detailed electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation using EPLAN Electric P8/ AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop and implement PLC-based control circuits for industrial automation, motor control, and process automation applications.
- Design electrical control systems using relay logic, contactors, sensors, timers, and protective devices for reliable and safe machine operation.
- Develop interlocking and protection schemes.
- Prepare Approval Drawings, Good for Manufacturing (GFM) Drawings, As-Built Drawings, and maintain revision history throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), other engineering documentation to support procurement and production planning.
- Interpret electrical drawings and ensure seamless integration between electrical hardware, PLC logic, HMI systems, and field devices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications while optimizing circuit designs for reliability, efficiency, and balanced load distribution.
- Conduct technical meetings with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, clarify technical issues, and provide engineering solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including wiring schedules, cable schedules, terminal plans, operating manuals, revision records, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with design, production, quality, procurement, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
