Job Title: Field Engineer – Hardware & Networking Location: Kolkata Experience Required: 3 Months+ Salary: ₹16,000 per month Job Description We are looking for a motivated Field Engineer – Hardware & Networking to join our team in Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure at client locations. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and replacements. Install and configure LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi devices. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure smooth network operations. Provide on-site technical support to clients and resolve service requests within agreed timelines. Configure operating systems, software applications, and antivirus solutions. Maintain service reports and update job status records. Coordinate with the technical support team for issue escalation and resolution. Follow company guidelines and safety procedures while working at customer sites. Required Skills Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking concepts. Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches. Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and network-related issues. Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common software installations. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel within Kolkata and nearby areas for field visits. Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field. Relevant certification in hardware or networking will be an added advantage. Experience Minimum 3 months of experience in hardware support, networking, or field service engineering. Salary & Benefits Salary: ₹16,000 per month.
