Job Title: Production Manager – Garments (Woven)
Location: Bhavani, Erode
Experience: 10+ Years (Preferably in woven garment manufacturing)
Qualification: Textile / Apparel / Garment Technology or a relevant degree
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage the entire woven garment production process to meet customer requirements.
- Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and ensure production stays within approved limits.
- Organize workflow and allocate resources to meet quality and delivery timelines.
- Monitor production lines to identify and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of production teams (line supervisors, operators, quality controllers, etc.).
- Coordinate with cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality departments for smooth production flow.
- Ensure availability of manpower, raw materials, trims, and accessories as per production plans.
- Approve and oversee maintenance, equipment usage, and production efficiency improvements.
- Enforce compliance with quality standards, health, and safety regulations.
- Report daily/weekly/monthly production status to senior management.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in woven garment production, especially in:
- Shirts & Formal Wear
- Velcro Dhotis
- Kids Shirts
- South Indian Traditional Wear (sets, ethnic styles, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing).
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume production and meet export/domestic buyer requirements.
- Problem-solving mindset with focus on quality, cost, and efficiency.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
