Job Summary:
The Placement Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining industry partnerships to facilitate placement opportunities for skill development trained candidates. The role involves building strong employer relationships, understanding industry manpower requirements, and ensuring successful deployment of candidates in suitable job roles. The candidate will act as a bridge between training operations and industry partners to achieve placement targets.
Key Responsibilities:1. Industry Tie-ups & Employer Engagement
- Identify, approach, and establish tie-ups with industries, MSMEs, corporates, and staffing agencies.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with HR managers, recruiters, and industry representatives.
- Conduct regular employer visits for business development and relationship management.
- Understand industry hiring requirements and align candidate profiles accordingly.
- Organize campus drives, job fairs, walk-ins, and recruitment events.
2. Candidate Placement & Deployment
- Ensure placement of skill-trained candidates in relevant job roles.
- Match candidate competencies with employer requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules, assessments, and offer roll-outs.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and joining formalities.
- Track candidate retention and post-placement support.
3. Target Achievement & Reporting
- Achieve monthly and annual placement targets.
- Maintain placement MIS, employer database, and candidate tracking system.
- Prepare reports on placements, industry engagement, and retention rates.
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines (NSDC/CSR/Government projects if applicable).
4. Coordination with Training Team
- Provide industry feedback to training teams for curriculum improvement.
- Conduct pre-placement talks, grooming sessions, and interview preparation workshops.
- Ensure candidates are job-ready in terms of soft skills and technical requirements.
5. Market Intelligence & Expansion
- Conduct market research to identify new sectors and job opportunities.
- Analyze hiring trends and wage benchmarks.
- Explore apprenticeship and on-the-job training opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of active industry tie-ups.
- Placement percentage of trained candidates.
- Candidate retention rate (Minimum 90 days).
- Employer satisfaction level.
- Achievement of monthly/quarterly placement targets.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Management, HR, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in placement, recruitment, business development, or industry relations (preferably in Skill Development/Education sector).
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of local industry landscape and hiring trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MIS reporting.
- Willingness to travel extensively for employer visits.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in NSDC/PMKVY/CSR/Government-funded skill projects.
- Experience handling blue-collar or entry-level workforce placements.
- Existing corporate HR network is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
