Job Description – Senio Site Engineer

Job Summary
The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing construction activities at the project site, ensuring that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role involves coordinating with site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Study and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and other construction drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Plan daily and weekly work activities and allocate manpower accordingly.
- Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed within the scheduled timeline.
- Inspect construction work to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignments, materials, and workmanship at different stages of construction.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Supervise labour and subcontractor performance and ensure proper utilization of manpower.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely availability of construction materials.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage at site.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, measurements, and work reports.
- Verify quantities and measurements of completed works for billing purposes.
- Assist in preparing and checking BOQs, estimates, material requirements, and work schedules.
- Monitor additional works, variations, and changes at the site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and company policies at the project site.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding progress, delays, technical issues, and site requirements.
- Guide and mentor Junior Site Engineers and other site staff.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates.
- Assist in snagging, rectification, final inspection, and project handover activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4years of relevant experience in construction, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site execution.
- Good understanding of structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity measurement, estimation, and billing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD, and relevant construction/project management software.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage site activities independently and meet project deadlines.

Working Conditions

The candidate should be willing to work at different project locations and manage site activities according to project requirements.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
