Commis I – Indian Cuisine
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian dishes according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare ingredients, including cutting vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices and seasonings.
- Support senior chefs in daily food production and kitchen operations.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control of all dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Indian kitchen section.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Properly store, label, and rotate food items following FIFO procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and inform senior chefs of ingredient requirements.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance concerns.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
- Minimize food wastage through proper handling and storage practices.
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
