Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, specialty beverages, mocktails, and cocktails while ensuring excellent presentation, guest service, hygiene, and smooth beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, cold coffee, and specialty coffees.
- Prepare cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages as per standard recipes.
- Handle coffee machines, grinders, shakers, blenders, and bar equipment.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Create and suggest new beverages and seasonal drink options.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on preferences.
- Ensure proper mise en place and availability of beverage ingredients.
- Monitor beverage inventory and coordinate with Stores/Purchase.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and beverage counter.
- Handle POS billing and cash/card transactions when required.
- Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, F&B, and service teams for smooth operations.
- Handle guest feedback and ensure excellent customer experience.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and mixology.
- Good understanding of espresso-based and specialty beverages.
- Knowledge of cocktail and mocktail preparation.
- Basic knowledge of latte art is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of beverage presentation and garnishing.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service hours.
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Barista, Mixologist, or Beverage Specialist.
- Experience in cafés, bars, restaurants, hotels, or resorts preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in premium cafés, luxury hotels, lounges, restaurants, or resorts.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee and craft beverages is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
