Role Overview
An Ophthalmology MR promotes eye-care medicines, eye drops, surgical products, and ophthalmic devices to ophthalmologists, eye hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. The main goal is to increase product prescriptions and sales by building strong relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit ophthalmologists, eye specialists, hospitals, and clinics regularly
- Promote ophthalmology products such as:
o Eye drops
o Dry eye medications
o Antibiotic eye medicines
o Cataract surgery products
o Glaucoma medicines
o Contact lens solutions
- Explain product benefits, dosage, and clinical studies to doctors
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Generate prescriptions and increase brand awareness
- Organize doctor meetings and product presentations
- Maintain daily call reports and sales records
- Coordinate with distributors and stockists for product availability

Required Skills
- Good communication and convincing skills (Hindi, English and Marathi)
- Basic medical and pharmaceutical knowledge
- 2years of experience as Ophthalmology MR.
- Confidence in doctor interaction
- Sales and negotiation skills
- Relationship-building ability

- Time management and field work capability
Salary= 15000-30000 P.M + Incentives
Benefits= Travel Allowances, Incentives, yearly increment.
