About the Role
ForReal Studios is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. We specialize in producing high-quality educational content for children, and we need your help to make our videos truly stand out.
Your mission is to transform basic lecture videos into vibrant, engaging, and interactive learning experiences. You will be responsible for enhancing raw footage with dynamic visuals, including icons, pop-ups, animations, images, and supplementary video clips that keep young minds focused and excited.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Enhancement: Take raw educational footage and enhance it using motion graphics, overlays, and visual effects to create an interactive learning environment.
- Content Assembly: Add icons, pop-ups, text animations, and supplementary media (images/videos) to illustrate and emphasize key concepts.
- Maintaining Pacing: Edit for rhythm and flow to ensure content remains engaging for a younger audience.
- Daily Deliverables: Manage your time effectively to meet daily project targets and deadlines.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all edits maintain the fun, educational, and high-quality tone associated with the ForReal Studios brand.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in video editing (a portfolio demonstrating motion graphics or educational content is highly preferred).
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools).
- Motion Graphics: Strong ability to create or integrate animated elements, pop-ups, and icons.
- Time Management: Ability to work independently in a remote environment and consistently hit daily production targets.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for visual storytelling and a passion for creating content that makes learning fun.
