Job Summary
The Drawing Teacher is responsible for developing students' creativity, artistic skills, and visual expression through drawing, painting, craft, and other art activities. The teacher creates an inspiring learning environment that encourages imagination while helping students understand the fundamentals of art and design.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver art and drawing lessons according to the school's curriculum.
- Teach students various drawing techniques, painting methods, coloring, shading, sketching, and craft activities appropriate to their grade level.
- Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression through visual arts.
- Organize practical art sessions using different materials and mediums.
- Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and assessments.
- Evaluate students' artistic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain students' attendance, records, and assessment reports.
- Organize and display students' artwork during school exhibitions, competitions, and annual functions.
- Prepare students for inter-school drawing, painting, and art competitions.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of art materials and equipment.
- Promote cleanliness and safety during art activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers for school events, decorations, and cultural programmes.
- Assist in school examinations, events, and other academic or administrative activities as assigned by the management.
- Stay updated with new art techniques, teaching methods, and creative learning practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Art Education, Drawing & Painting, or an equivalent qualification.
- Diploma or Certificate in Art Education is desirable.
- B.Ed. preferred (for school teaching positions).
- Relevant teaching experience is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
