Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with 4–6 years of site execution experience to oversee the structural and earthworks development at our commercial farm locations. You will manage daily on-site operations for specialized agricultural infrastructure—including large-scale greenhouse foundations, heavy machinery roads, and water retention structures—ensuring strict adherence to timelines, quality and safety standards, and co-ordinate effectively with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Management: Direct daily construction activities, schedule labor, and manage materials to keep projects on track.
- Construction Management: Oversee complete construction including structural and finishing works from groundbreaking to project handover.
- Quality Management: Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure all work meets engineering specifications and building codes.
- OHSE Management: Enforce strict Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
Required Technical & Software Skills
- Greenhouse and Supporting Infrastructure: Oversee the grading, excavation, and precise foundation casting for commercial high-tech greenhouses and operation facility including support infrastructure.
- Water Management Structures: Supervise the construction of massive water retention tanks and drains.
- Land Development: Manage large-scale earthmoving, leveling, and soil stabilization works necessary to prepare raw land for commercial cultivation.
- Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD for plan modifications, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for tracking progress, and G-Suite for cloud-based team reporting.
- Technical Frameworks: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, billing, bar bending schedules (BBS), and material testing.
Required Soft Skills
- Communication: Articulate updates clearly to corporate management, rural site laborers, and engineering vendors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Civil Engineers, agricultural consultants, and system vendors to eliminate installation conflicts.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve mechanical interferences and electrical routing bottlenecks swiftly on-site.
- Decision-Making: Exercise quick, safe judgment regarding resource allocation and critical path challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
- 4–6 years of verifiable experience specifically in site execution preferably within agro-industrial and industrial projects.
Mobility
- Must be fully willing to relocate to rural or remote commercial farm project sites as required.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
