Oracle Trainer – Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Oracle Trainer to train students and freshers in Oracle Database Administration and SQL development. The trainer should be capable of teaching both theoretical concepts and practical database management techniques with real-time examples and hands-on sessions.
Job Role
- Train students in Oracle Database concepts and administration
- Conduct practical sessions on SQL, PL/SQL, and database management
- Teach database design, querying, backup, recovery, and performance basics
- Guide students in hands-on lab exercises and real-time database scenarios
- Support interview preparation and certification guidance
- Prepare assignments, assessments, and training materials
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and evaluate student progress
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Oracle Database
- SQL
- PL/SQL
- Database Administration concepts
- Hands-on experience with:
- Database Installation and Configuration
- Tables, Views, Indexes, and Joins
- Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers
- User and Permission Management
- Backup and Recovery basics
- Performance Tuning basics
- Import/Export Utilities
- Database Security concepts
- Understanding of:
- Data Modeling
- Normalization
- Transactions and Constraints
- Oracle Architecture basics
- Knowledge of cloud databases or Oracle Cloud is an added advantage
- Good communication and teaching skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
- Oracle Certification preferred
- Previous training or mentoring experience is an advantage

- 1+ years preferred
- (Freshers with strong Oracle project and SQL knowledge can also apply)
