About this opportunity:
As part of Ericsson’s Data Scientist team, you'll spearhead the development of sophisticated machine learning solutions that address complex business challenges at scale. You'll employ advanced scientific methods, processes, and systems to extract strategic insights and drive organizational transformation through applied analytics. Direct your extensive expertise in machine learning towards architecting innovative AI/ML solutions that set standards for Ericsson's technical and architectural excellence while mentoring and elevating your team.
What you will do:
- Define and lead technical strategy by analysing complex requirements, optimizing solutions, and managing constraints across large-scale initiatives while setting architectural direction for ML projects.
- Architect and deploy enterprise-grade predictive models, recommendation engines, anomaly detection systems, statistical models, deep learning models, and other advanced machine learning systems.
- Demonstrate mastery in machine learning concepts and programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL, and advanced frameworks while establishing best practices across teams.
- Develop and optimize solutions leveraging both on-premise and cloud-based machine learning platforms, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Partner strategically with senior business leaders and executive decision-making personnel to define success metrics, translate business objectives into ML solutions, and drive ROI.
- Lead, mentor, and develop emerging data scientists; establish thought leadership and foster a high-performing community of machine learning practitioners within Ericsson.
- Drive innovation in ML methodologies, lead proof-of-concepts, and champion adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.
The skills you bring:
- Minimum 13+ years of experience in Data Science with demonstrated impact in enterprise environments
- Advanced DevSecOps practices and MLOps pipeline management
- Strategic Business Understanding with ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps
- Expertise in Artificial Intelligence Systems and advanced AI/ML architectures
- Advanced Software Engineering and system design principles
- Enterprise-level Data Management and governance
- Ericsson Business Intelligence and Analytics Competence at an advanced level
- Mastery of Open-Source Programming Languages and frameworks
- Advanced Data Preprocessing and feature engineering techniques
- Advanced Statistical Analysis and experimental design
- Cloud Development and multi-cloud architecture experience
- Deep expertise in Machine Learning Algorithms and their applications
- Leadership and team development capabilities
- Technical communication and thought leadership
