We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) to lead academic excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and institutional development. The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic background, significant research contributions, and the ability to mentor faculty and students while contributing to accreditation, curriculum development, and industry collaborations.
Essential Qualification
- Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a relevant specialization from a recognized university.
- B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering or related discipline with consistently good academic records.
- Must meet the eligibility criteria as per AICTE/UGC norms.
Experience
- Minimum experience as prescribed by AICTE/UGC for the post of Professor.
- Proven experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses.
- Strong research profile with publications in reputed SCI/Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.
- Experience in guiding Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate research.
- Administrative and leadership experience in academic institutions is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in Computer Science and Engineering.
- Develop and update curriculum in line with industry and emerging technologies.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
- Guide Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. student projects and research activities.
- Obtain funded research projects from government and industry agencies.
- Mentor faculty members and promote research culture within the department.
- Organize workshops, seminars, conferences, FDPs, and technical events.
- Build collaborations with industries, research organizations, and academic institutions.
- Participate in accreditation activities such as NBA, NAAC, and AICTE compliance.
- Contribute to institutional quality initiatives, rankings, and strategic planning.
- Perform academic administration, committee responsibilities, and departmental planning.
- Encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup activities among students.
- Ensure effective implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices.
