This role is initially based in Hyderabad, Telangana, with a required permanent relocation to our Visakhapatnam District or Anakapalli District site in Andhra Pradesh in future, aligned with project milestones.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
- Experience in project management, vendor management, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design plans and strategy.
- Experience in mechanical infrastructure.
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in managing data center infrastructure and fit out projects and managing partners and stakeholders ,vendor management and customization of project management tools.
- Knowledge of green field fitout construction, fitout permits and statutory requirements, local industry standards and codes.

With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).
In this role, you will support our AI2 mission to safely and quickly develop AI infrastructure.
- Work with partners, customers and key stakeholders to develop and articulate mechanical, HVAC, MEP design plans and long term strategy. Initiate new programs in response to need and be the catalyst for winning support and driving them through the execution phase.
- Manage various programs of work, engage teams and engineers, set the pace for development, deployment and delivery of data center services and infrastructure. Develop and prepare mechanical calculation, MEP calculation, product selection criteria, project documentation, quality check documents, code and compliances metrics, process maps, presentations and tracking reports to provide detailed current status of each project.
- Analyze service performance and system performance data and translate into recommendations and actionable plans. Provide strong quantitative analysis, requiring interpretation of technical and commercial information from structured and unstructured sources.
- Take accountability for driving project deliverables on time.
