Job Title: Backend Support Executive (Fresher)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Backend Support Executive to join our team as a fresher. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with a strong foundation in programming and database concepts, eager to learn backend technologies, troubleshoot application issues, and support the smooth functioning of our software systems across BFSI, payments, and manufacturing domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting backend applications and APIs.
- Assist in troubleshooting first-level user authentication, authorization, SSO, and access provisioning issues across systems.
- Support the development team in debugging issues, analyzing logs, and identifying root causes.
- Perform basic database queries and assist with data validation and reporting.
- Coordinate with QA and development teams to reproduce, log, and track bug fixes.
- Respond to and resolve first-level backend support tickets within defined SLAs.
- Document recurring issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in testing APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Learn and support deployment and version control processes using Git.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to gradually take up basic backend development tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Languages:
- Basic knowledge of Java, Python etc
Frameworks (Good to Know):
- Spring Boot, Laravel, or Node.js (academic/project exposure acceptable)
Databases:
- Basic SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL); familiarity with Firestore or Firebase is a plus
Tools & Concepts:
- Git/GitHub, Postman, REST APIs, basic understanding of CI/CD
IT Security:
- Basic understanding of centralized authentication, authorization, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts (e.g., SSO, SAML, LDAP, and IdP integrations like Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD).
Education:
- BE/BTech/BCA/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with centralized Identity & Access Management (IAM) and authentication protocols (SSO, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, LDAP).
- Conceptual understanding of Identity Providers (IdP) such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, or Keycloak is a strong plus.
- Basic understanding of user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and session management.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Any academic project or internship involving backend development or APIs
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus
