Job Summary
The PGT Physics Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physics education to senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12) in alignment with the Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, conducting practical experiments, preparing students for board examinations, and promoting conceptual understanding in Physics.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Physics lessons for Grade 11 & 12 students.
- Follow the CBSE curriculum and guidelines for Physics teaching.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment strategies.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure proper use of lab equipment.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations and competitive exams.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Encourage scientific thinking, analytical skills, and curiosity among students.
- Participate in school academic meetings, training programs, and events.
- Support extracurricular activities such as science exhibitions, Olympiads, and projects.
Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Physics (M.Sc Physics) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE / reputed school.
- Experience teaching Senior Secondary (Grade 11 & 12) preferred.
