Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing and executing interior projects, supporting senior designers in concept development, space planning, material selection, and project coordination. This role requires a strong passion for design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
- Support senior designers in space planning, furniture layouts, and color schemes.
- Research materials, finishes, furniture, and decor to align with project requirements.
- Prepare technical drawings, 3D renderings, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source materials and products.
- Assist in on-site visits, measurements, and client meetings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainability practices, and new design innovations.
- Ensure projects meet budget and timeline constraints while maintaining design integrity.
- Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in interior design or a related role.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
- Strong creative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
- A keen eye for aesthetics, color, and spatial arrangements.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or prior experience in interior design projects.
Knowledge of building codes, materials, and industry standards.
Experience with 3D visualization tools (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape).
