Role description
we are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QE Automation Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in software testing and automation. The candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web and API applications.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman
- Maintain test documentation and reports
- Support CI/CD testing processes
- Ensure software quality standards are met before release
