SMOOR Café is looking for a highly organized, energetic, and creative Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute events at the café and within residential communities. The role will be responsible for creating and managing events that drive customer footfall, engagement, and incremental revenue for SMOOR Café.
The Event Manager will handle the end-to-end execution of events, from identifying event opportunities and planning concepts to coordinating vendors, managing logistics, executing the event, and evaluating its overall performance and revenue contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute events at SMOOR Café outlets and residential communities.
- Identify suitable event opportunities within premium residential communities and coordinate with apartment associations/RWAs.
- Develop an event calendar covering weekends, festivals, special occasions, kids' activities, workshops, food experiences, and community events.
- Create engaging event concepts and experiences that increase customer footfall and café revenue.
- Manage the complete event lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, setup, execution, and dismantling.
- Coordinate with café operations, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Coordinate with external vendors for décor, entertainment, activities, equipment, branding, and other event requirements.
- Ensure all events are executed in line with SMOOR's premium brand standards.
- Manage on-ground event operations and resolve issues promptly during the event.
- Ensure the right product displays, sampling, promotions, and café offerings are incorporated into events to encourage customer purchases.
- Explore opportunities for recurring events within residential communities to build consistent footfall and revenue.
- Monitor event performance, including footfall, customer participation, revenue generated, and overall ROI.
- Prepare post-event reports with key learnings, revenue performance, and recommendations for future events.
- Maintain strong relationships with residential communities, event partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Revenue & Performance Responsibility
- Although this is a purely event-management role, the Event Manager will be responsible for ensuring that events contribute towards incremental revenue for SMOOR Café.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in event management, hospitality, F&B, retail, or community events.
- Experience handling residential community events will be an added advantage.
