Job Summary:
We are hiring a Senior Consultant – IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) with strong expertise in IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos TM1 solution development and consulting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise planning and analytics solutions using Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAFE/PAfE). The role requires client-facing consulting experience, solution architecture capabilities, and end-to-end project delivery ownership across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities:
· Design and develop end-to-end IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 solutions including cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules, feeders, and TI processes
· Build and maintain dashboards, books, views, Websheets, and self-service reporting environments in Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
· Develop reports, active forms, templates, and analytical workbooks in Planning Analytics for Excel (PAFE/PAfE)
· Migrate legacy TM1 Perspectives reports and Active Forms into PAW and PAFE environments
· Write and optimize complex TM1 Rules, Feeders, and MDX queries for improved model performance
· Develop Turbo Integrator (TI) processes and chores for automation, ETL, scheduling, and cube administration
· Conduct requirement gathering workshops with finance, FP&A, and IT stakeholders
· Translate budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and workforce planning requirements into scalable TM1 solutions
· Prepare Solution Design Documents (SDD), functional specifications, and technical documentation
· Act as a primary client contact for issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and delivery coordination
· Facilitate end-user training and change management initiatives for PAW/PAFE adoption
· Lead and mentor junior consultants and developers within project teams
· Manage delivery across requirements, design, build, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support
· Support pre-sales activities including solution scoping, estimations, and proposal preparation
· Stay updated with IBM Planning Analytics product enhancements and industry best practices
Technical Skills Required:
· Strong hands-on expertise in IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos TM1 development and consulting
· Expertise in Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) including dashboards, books, views, and Websheets
· Expertise in Planning Analytics for Excel (PAFE/PAfE) including active forms, templates, and reporting
· Advanced proficiency in TM1 Rules, Feeders, MDX queries, and Turbo Integrator (TI) processes
· Strong understanding of OLAP, cube design, star schema, and multidimensional modelling concepts
· Experience in TM1 security administration including object, data, and element-level security
· Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning processes
· Experience integrating TM1 with SQL databases, REST APIs, flat files, or ETL tools
· Proficiency in SQL queries and stored procedures for data integration and troubleshooting
· Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
· Experience handling end-to-end client-facing implementation projects
· Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies is preferred
· IBM Certified Developer – Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics certification is an added advantage
· Exposure to IBM Planning Analytics on Cloud (PAoC), Cognos Analytics BI, Python, or REST API integration is preferred
· Understanding of IFRS/GAAP financial reporting frameworks will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
