Job Opening: Woven Merchandiser
Location: Coimbatore

Role & Responsibilities
- Source and onboard weaving unit vendors based on quality, capacity, and cost efficiency
- Analyze Purchase Orders (POs) and prepare accurate costing with proper yarn & fabric consumption
- Plan and calculate warp, weft, and overall fabric consumption with realistic wastage
- Strong understanding of loom types, weaving techniques, and fabric constructions
- Possess hands-on knowledge of fabric processing stages including:Dyeing,Printing and Finishing
- Sound knowledge of yarns and yarn blends, their behavior, and suitability for different fabric processes
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure quality, timelines, and cost control
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong calculation and analytical skills
- Proven expertise in fabric and yarn costing
- Accurate yarn consumption and fabric consumption calculations
- Clear understanding of yarn functionality for different processes
- Clear understanding of fabric functionality for end-use and processing
- Good coordination and vendor management skills
- Willing to travel for vendor visits and process follow-ups
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Background in woven fabric merchandising or production
- Exposure to weaving units and processing houses
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Comfortable working in a cost-sensitive, execution-focused environment
