Arts and Crafts Teacher - Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related field with 2 – 5 yrs of experience in teaching arts and crafts in a classroom setting for students of all ages and abilities
- Certification in Art Education will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with digital art tools and technology
- Strong foundation in both 2D and 3D art forms
Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans and art projects for different age groups.
- Teach students various arts and crafts techniques and principles and foster artistic skills
- Encourage creativity of students through art activities
- Evaluate and assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
- Organize and prepare materials and supplies for classrooms and projects
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Plan and coordinate art displays and exhibitions using diverse art forms and cultural traditions
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff on projects works
